What We Carry Between Us follows immediately after the opening proposition. Two figures press into a single shape on raw brick; the painting's installation against the gallery's unfinished wall completes what the surface begins. Dakamela compresses the relational pressure further: this is not embrace but shared substance. Blue interrupts the umber, splashing across the figures like interruption brought into composition.
